Day 01: Chiang Mai Arrival (D)

Arrive at Chiang Mai Airport, meet the guide then transfer to the hotel for check in. In the evening, enjoy the famous dinner "Khantoke Dinner" known as the northern welcome dinner including hill tribe dancing. Spend your night at eco-hut with Thai-style rooms with stunning views of the river and elephant path just a stone’s throw away.


Day 02: Full day Elephant Safari (B, L, D)

After breakfast, visit Mae Taman Elephant Camp; explore the spectacular mountainous scenery along the way. On arrival, you can see how trained elephants are used as working animals by their mahouts. In addition, you will see elephants bathing in the river, painting and know how to pronounce the elephant commands as you experience a special adventure with Elephant Ride for one hour through the beautiful mountain scenery and over hilly trails. 
Then make a stop at the Lisu Hill Tribe Village located in the mountains around 1,000 meters above sea level. Then take a ride by Ox-cart Ride to experience a local farmer transportation through rice fields and tropical fruit plantations to return back to the elephant camp. Lunch served at the restaurant in the camp before a 45-minute bamboo raft on the rural Mae Taeng River. Cruise on a leisurely pace through the farm houses and stunning scenery.
Finally, visit the stunning Orchid farm to see more than 50 different types of wild orchids before the returning back to the eco lodge

Day 03: Chiang Mai – Luang Prabang (B, D)

After breakfast, free at leisure till time transfer to the airport for flight departure. Upon arrival you will be met by your guide and driver and transferred to your hotel for check in and relax. Spend one night in Luang Prabang.

Day 04: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave – Nong Khiaw (B, L, D)

Early Morning: Participate in the Buddhist rituals at sunrise and give of alms (sticky rice ) to monks.

Back to the hotel for breakfast and start a cruise to Pak Ou caves, on the way, we pass the lush green forests and watch rural riverside life. Until reaching Pak Ou Caves located where the Nam Ou and Mekong rivers meet. Inside limestone cliffs, there are thousands of Buddha images and statues.

Nearby Pak Ou Caves, continue a visit to the village to explore the scenery.

Evening: Dinner and stay overnight in a boutique bungalow with Laos traditional style. We provide you an accommodation as close to nature as possible.

Day 05: Nong Khiaw – Muang Ngoi - Trekking (B, L, D)


Morning: We leave Nong Khiaw at 8:30am and cruise up the river to get Muang Ngoi which is a remote and isolated riverside village and then continue trekking to villages named Ban Kioukhan (about 4-5 hours), the village occupied by the Khmu hill tribe people, we have time to walk around this charming small village. On the way, we move to the Tham Kang cave which was used as a bomb shelter during the Vietnam War to protect people.

Noon: Have a picnic lunch and then arrive in Ban Kioukhan in the afternoon. Explore their culture and daily lifestyle

Evening: Have dinner and overnight at the villager’s homes with the natural surroundings.

Day 06: Ban Kioukhan – Muang Ngoi – Luang Prabang (B, L, D)

  • Breakfast and then continue our expedition, take a half day walk until we arrive at Ban Hadsaphaei village which is situated by the Nam Ou River. And then we get on a boat to Muang Ngoi, on the way, we have a great chance to enjoy the landscape of limestone mountain
  • Lunch served at the local restaurant in Muang Ngoi.
  • We depart Muang Ngoi and Nong Khiaw to get back to Luang Prabang. Arrive and check back into the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax. Overnight in Luang Prabang.


Day 07: Luang Prabang – Hanoi (B, L, D)

  • Take a visit to National Museum (former Royal Palace) built in 1904 reminds us of the traditional Laos and French beaux-arts styles. It is time for us to look around the Central Market. After visiting these sights in the morning, there is free time to venture into town and stroll around the shopping area before your transfer to the airport for a flight to Hanoi.
  • You will be welcomed at the airport by your tour guide before transferring to the downtown for check in at the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 08: Hanoi Sights/Capital of Culture – night train to Sapa (B, L, D)

Most travelers love Hanoi because of its casual way of life. You could just sit at an outdoor cafe and observe the local life while drinking street coffee. Today you will have a chance to stroll around Hanoi and explore this casual beauty. Your first stop is the beautiful West Lake with Tran Quoc pagoda – the oldest one in Hanoi, yielding a view of Ho Chi Minh mausoleum from outside. You will then visit the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam since the 11th century, a peaceful ancient space right in the heart of a bustling city. Lunch will be served with Hanoi specialties. Afternoon, the next place is Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, one of the most interesting museums in Hanoi with houses modeling after the architectures of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups. Discover the Old Quarter of Hanoi by Cyclo (the rudimentary transport of Vietnam)
This fascinating quarter is comprised of narrow alleys and old houses (tube houses) and the winding streets, which is also referred to as “36 guild streets”.  Afterwards you will enjoy a Water puppet show – the unique Traditional Art in the North of Vietnam. Then you will be transferred to the Railway Station to board the night train to get to Sapa.

Day 09: Trek along rice fields to remote Nam Cang Riverside Lodge (B, L, D)

Arrive early in the morning in Lao Cai and have a transfer to Sapa. You will enjoy breakfast in a nice local restaurant. Pass over Hoang Lien National Park to reach the furthest area: Tay minority village of Thanh Phu. From here, you will start your trekking through beautiful rice paddy terraces, enormous mountains and magnificent valley view. On your trekking way, you may encounter the local people with colorful clothes or their cattle such as buffalos, pigs. Then have picnic lunch in the wild nature. Continue your hike and walk through some Black Hmong villages, let’s slow down to look at the simple and special way of living style here. Your walk will end soon at Red Dao minority village of Nam Cang and check in at Nam Cang Riverside Lodge – your accommodation which is owned by a local Red Dao family and next to the beautiful river. Here, take a rest and relax into the tropical jungle

Approx: Moderate / 6 hour hiking

Day 10: Trekking along rivers and remote hillsides (B, L)

Wake up in the sound of nature and green trees; let’s enjoy the fresh air and your breakfast served at front terrace. Today you will hike higher up to the mountain where you can look down to overall beautiful and enormous view of valleys and mountains. The paths you hike are used by local farmers and you will cross some rivers to visit a small village of Red Dao people in Nam Ngan. Let’s discover the customs, traditions and unique cultures here by entering some local people’s houses and talking with them. Trek to a bigger path to reach My Son village where Xa Pho ethnic people live. After lunch, continue your hike and pass Muong Bo River. Now you can take a rest and wait for your car to come back Lao Cai and take a night train back to Hanoi.
Approx: Moderate / 7 hour hiking

Day 11: Hanoi – Halong Bay – New Wonder World (B, L, D)

Early Morning: On Arrival in Hanoi and get breakfast before getting on a scenic 3-hour drive to Halong Bay, one of the most breath-taking places in Southeast Asia and recognized as World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 1994 and listed in the New 7 Wonders in 2012

Noon: On arrival in Halong bay, complimentary coffee and tea and The seafood lunch provided on board while cruising and seeing the amazing scenery with thousands of islets rising from the emerald water and the magnificent limestone mountain peaks where tourists can climb some of them. After lunch, we disembark and move to some islands are hollow with the spectacular caves such as Sung sot (Amazing) cave, Thien Cung ( Heaven) cave or you can take a swim at Titop beach. In addition, Kayaking is your optional, really recommend it because this is the great way to discover the route enclosed by the limestone cliffs and the calm water by yourself.

Afternoon: We will dine on board while observing the sunset (you can join a cooking class)

At night, relax on the sundeck and enjoy your night at your luxury cabin in the boat

Day 12: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L, D)

Morning: Enjoy a morning view of Bay’s landscapes with a cup of tea, coffee, fresh fruits. And then relax on the sundeck or in optional join Kayaking or swimming to dive in the emerald green water with limestone mountain surroundings

After these activities, have lunch and check out and transfer back to Hanoi by car

Overnight in Hanoi.


Day 13: Hanoi – Phu Quoc Islands (B)

Headed for Phu Quoc Island - one of the most beautiful island of the world and situated just 15km off the coast of Cambodia in the Gulf of Thailand and 50kms from the Vietnamese mainland.

This peaceful tropical paradise voted to be "The Cleanest and Most Beautiful Beach in the World" by ABC News in February, 2008.

A family vacation here would be more than worthwhile not only because of this, but because it is also a chance to trek through the tropical forest, go snorkeling or diving in the emerald water, and explore the pearl factory.


Day 14 – 18: Days on the beach (B)

Your full day is at leisure to explore the tropical paradise of Vietnam, Phu Quoc: swimming, snorkeling, cycling, spa or just relax in the pool. Do exactly what you want without having to follow a schedule. Relax and enjoy!


Day 19: Phu Quoc Islands Departure (B)

Enjoy your last day to lounge on the beach before catching your flight back to home. After breakfast, tranfer to the  airport for a departure flight.
